New project!
While I wait for Sweet B to come back from the spa (sad),
I made pattern pieces for an upcoming tank top project,
Variation #3 from The BurdaStyle Sewing Handbook.
I’m not particularly in love with it,
but I have a fabric someone gave me I’m willing to try on it.
And I’ll make it so I can learn some techniques.
Hopefully it won’t look too much like a tent?
I don’t think I’ll include those little shoulder flaps.
It’s easier to wear sleeveless tops under a cardigan,
which is the style I usually go for.
There was a time a sheet like this looked completely intimidating to me.
Now I love the way it looks!
It would be fun to paper a wall with sewing patterns…hm.
Idea for sewing room?
I used this tool! At one point, I was intimidated by this tool.
Now I feel like I’m actually starting to know what I’m doing.
The punchline is, I made all the pattern pieces alterations,
then realized I don’t actually have enough fabric.
Plan B: I decided I would use another fabric I have,
a silk someone gave me from India.
Then I changed my mind and turned the silk into a curtain.
Hm…no plan C as of yet.
But I’m sure I’ll think of something!
